ARCH ENEMY's new live release "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun - Live In Japan" will be out November 24th, 2008 in Europe and November 25th in North America. In the meantime, the band has posted a first look at this live release.
Recorded on March 8th of 2008 in Tokyo, "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun - Live In Japan" is not only live document of the band's current "Rise Of The Tyrant" touring cycle, but also marks ARCH ENEMY's first internationally available live-album (and second DVD after "Live Apocalypse"). The main live-set demonstrates the amount of quality metal-tracks the band has forged during its 7-studio albums lasting career and the bonus content includes an in-depth road movie allowing further insights into the ARCH ENEMY-cult phenomenon in Asia as well as several promo clips. Guitarist Christopher Amott comments on the DVD as follows:
"This is an opportunity for everyone to see Arch Enemy live on stage in Japan in all its grandeur! The show was just fantastic and fortunately we captured it on film. Basically, a "must have" DVD for any Arch Enemy fan, or any metal fan in general I think!"
Also, you can now check out the song "Taking Back My Soul" (the original studio version appears on 2005's "Doomsday Machine" album) in its uncompromising live intensity and impressive Andy Sneap mix on band's MySpace page.
"Tyrants Of The Rising Sun" will be available as Deluxe DVD+2CD with special packaging, Standard DVD, Standard 2CD and Ltd. 2LP (with alternate artwork).
