Bruce Springsteen has posted a Halloween song, "A Night With The Jersey Devil," on his official Web site.
There is also a video showing Springsteen as the Jersey Devil.
"If you grew up in central or south Jersey, you grew up with the 'Jersey Devil,'" writes Springsteen. "Here's a little musical Halloween treat."
The Jersey Devil is a creature of legend, with wings and hooves that is said to inhabit the Pine Barrens in southern New Jersey.
Springsteen announced earlier this week that he and his wife would not hold their annual Halloween display at their Rumson mansion, because of safety concerns about the number of visitors.
