I am trying to get setup to start recording, i know i need a 4 track or a digital whatever (cant think of the name, but i know it cuz i was just looking for them on ebay haha) but anyway...what else do i need besides mics and stuff? also what gear do i need to start preforming live gigs and ***? any other info would be great!! thanks

For gigging, a good amplifier and always make sure your going through a p.a otherwise volumes can be a little messy, but that really depends on where your playing.

For a studio, mixer, a really good equalizer, decent mic's, fx if needed, and if you wannna get a little more advanced, a pc program like cubase or something
