I like For Whom The Bell Tolls from Metallica. The bass at the beginning kicks ass.

Jaco Pastorius...One of the best bass players ever, songs like Chromatic fantasy and Portrait Of Tracy. But they're more bass solos than bass lines...:P Rage Against the machine-Killing in the name of, RHCP By the way and GNR Sweet child of mine is also pretty good.

And The Furniture Matches The Ceiling.
