I would have to say for lyrics it gots to be senses fail, TBS, Alkaline Trio, and Thursday. But when it comes to guitar, song writing, etc. It gots to be Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Atreyu, and Avenged Seven Fold.
for lyrics i like John Lennon, Bob Dylan and Roger Waters for full songs the best are probably Pete Townshend and Frank Zappa hes a great composer with a sense of humor

i stay away from other's music as much as possible. everything i write comes out more original for me the longer i stop listening to other people's music. but I think sevendust, jerry cantrell, clapton, mudvayne, old korn, steve vai, and joe satriani have all influenced my playing alot. im into all types of music, but since im in a metal band its tough to use my classical roots as an influence or source of ideas. it all comes out though.
Yngwie Malmsteen Michael Angelo Batio Metallica Megadeth Children of Bodom Paul Gilbert (big part in guitar) Van Halen Arch Enemy Kiss Nirvana AC/DC The list goes on and on.
