whoa... first post in a long time... but anyways
some mainstream music can be really good. maroon 5 and keane (if they are considered pop) have great music that goes against the whole teenie bopper, boy band thing. ur right.. theres a lot of pop that really bad, but not all of it sucks

Pop rock is gay. The thing is they get these pretty boy and pretty girly girls to go out there and lipsing like Ashley and Jessica simpson. They use this as a gateway to get on TV, Movies, Clothing LInes. And all of that. It isnt really talent its all just publicity to get money. Metal music isnt mainstream anymore. Everyone hates metal now because pop has taken over. LEAVE IT IN THE 90'S NOT IN THIS DAY AND AGE!
