I bought my Ovation at a small music store three and a half years ago. It originally cost eight-hundred bucks, but I eventually got it for six-hundred. When I was in the prosess of buying my Ovation, I played a lot of them till I found the one I was most comfortable with. Then I bought it and loved playing it ever since. So if your thinking about buying one, find one you like with the best tone quality and action etc.

One thing about the Celebirty Deluxe Ovation (CDO) is that instead of having one hole in the center of it. It has about fifteen holes which vairy in size from top to bottom near the neck which gives a unique designe then the average acuostic. The neck of the (CDO) has two steel ajustable rods in it to give it strength. The cut-away makes for an easy way to to reach those high notes in soloing. Another thing that some may not like is the fact that they are not as loud as other models of acuostic guitares. |

With my (CDO) I can play so effortlessly, becuase unlike other acuostics, its so much easyer to reach those higher notes. It feels like playing on butter. |

Quality |

The (CDO) can produce some really nice tones than other guitars depending on your settings on the on- bored switches and the amp. (etc). |

Durability |

The (CDO) is very reliable. Out of the three and a half years I had it, I adjusted it twice. I have traveled with it in and out of state and played live gigs with it. It has taken a beating and is still playing as good as new. |

Overall this modle for acoustic guitars is wonderful, lasts longer,and is really easy to play compared to others. |

My dad bought this about 10 years ago. For 800 dollars, included a case.

This guitar has basically no weak points. It is a very solid acoustic. It doesnnullt really lack anythign. The only problem i had though is the turtle-shell/round back of it. That makes it kinda big and bulky. I wish i could fix that but oh well. |

This thing is literally better than any acoustic i have ever played. I have played first act, gibson, alvarez, and those non brand guitars but this one is the best by far. |

Quality |

The quality of this guitar is great. It doesnt buzz or anything you cant play it really blight for blues, or go heavy with neo-classical. If you put light or Extra light, you probably may be able to get metal. I suggest light or medium because that makes it more mid-range. |

It is really good for years. I have some problems with the electric output outlet. But i could probably get that fixed. Its been in constant use for over 10 years so its good for what it is used for. |

Overall opinion. Has maybe 2 minor flaws. Excellent acoustic for any level. I have seen many famous artists play this. The main one i saw play it though was Judas Priest. |
