This was custom-made for me by the builder, $2850. I szaw one of his instruments in a high end shop, played it, loved it, but it was too fancy for my taste. Then I learned that for the same price I could have one made exactly as I wished...The rest is history.

Adirondack top, ziracote back and sides, curly ash neck and binding. Absolutely beautiful, but the wood choice makes it heavy for its size. Abalone binding & rosette. Custom Irish art inlay work. |

Long sustain, deep tones, and sounds good up the neck, but not one for whaling on as the response is not there for that. I play fingerstyle and it is best suited for my more intimate stuff, anything fingerstyle. |

Only complaint I can make is that the neck is less than a perfect fit over the soundboard. But it is solid nonetheless. |

John was wonderful to work with, very willing to try new things, and to make it the way I wanted it. Good communicator as well. I wanted a secoond high quality instrument, one that would fill in theh gapsp of my Goodall, and I thinnk I have it here. |
