An attempt by Incubus to move to a more mainstream form of their funky metal rock hybrid deems successful, although may be a disappointment for narrow-minded, hardcore fans of Fungus Amongous and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. The CD is definitely worth a couple of weeks in the disc changer, as it puts a great collection of alternative rock metal into your boring stale life. The standout tracks seem to be Stellar, a space-age lighter rock song, Pardon Me, a hard rock song about spontaneous combustion, Make Yourself, another hard rock song talking about graphic ideas, and I Miss You, a love song of missing someone you love, but not totally girling out on Incubus' half. Go get this album if you are already a fan of incubus, as you will not be disappointed, although this (in my opinion) is one of their weaker releases. If you are not a fan of Incubus yet or have not heard much of them check them out on iTunes or Amazon, because their records are staples for any modern-rock fans.
