I bought my 300 in Arcata California at wildwood music for $125 in December, Which I was wary to do because of the cold weather. Inullm a traveler ... (Hitchhicker specificly) and granted I protect my guitar as much as possible, it has been through some climate changes, dents and dings on the road ... And it still sounds like when I bought it. I like the Mahogany/Rosewood look and the vibrance of the sounds I get from the bass and tenors, especialy the Em.

The look of the guitar is great, It has a nice mahogny top with a natural look (I have the satin finish) ... However I prefer a pin-less bridge so that didnnullt fit me ... but I like the way it plays, the easy navigation of the fret board, and the simplicity of fretting my chords. |

I like the sound I get on songs like "Hotel California", The 300 offers a thick bass sound with a nice crisp tenor accompaniment. Inullve heard many songs played on my Hohner from Led Zeppelin to Jimmy Buffet, From Greenday to Skynard and I love to hear it played almost as much as I enjoy playing it. Itnulls definatly worth itnulls price, Even more. |

Inullve played the 300 in 23 degree weather and inside at 80 ... And got the same (or pretty close to) sounds ... A Satisfying bass and a bright tenor ... But the barre chords are less then adequit (However Inullm not all that good at barring). |

Droped, hit, ding, slid, and occasionaly used as a drum ... and not so much as a scratch. it stays in tune for a prolonged time compared to my previous guitar (a johnson). I belive with proper care the Hohner 300 could last you quite awhile. |

I love my Hohner HW-300 it combines affordability with great sound and action, Definatly a great buy. I would have never expected this much continued fun and adaptability from a mid-low range price guitar. I will be a Hohner customer again, I plan on looking into the new ECLIPSE series ... But I am keeping my 300 until I cannullt play it anymore which I hope will be a long time. |

This guitar has a very basic curvy shape and a beautiful paint job. It has a darkish wood front and a nice dark cherry red finish on the head, neck, and bac of the body. This Guitar doesnnullt have and funky shapes or jazzy colors it is very simple, but great. |

This guitar has gone much higher than my expectations. It has great weight balance(i really doesnnullt weight that much) and for playability i would give a 8 out of 10. Just because similar to mostacoustic guitars it is difficult to do full bends. It is no gibson and sertainly not the price of one but i i knew how it played previous to buying it i wouldnullve been willing to pay around $350 for it. |

Like i said the action is fantastic all the way down to the neck. It resonates wonderfuly and can produce a clean and powerful noise. The frets are perfectly sized so every chord rings out masterfuly.Depending o the style of playing it can have a wonderful blues sound, an acoustic rock sound, or as i was able to expierience on saint pattynulls day a soothing irish tone that will drive through the guiness sodden heart of any true irish man. |

I was ten when i got this guitar and i didnnullt own a case so it would lie in my room and wouldnnullt be played very often because i didnnullt know how( would just strum open strings). About a year after receiving it i got a case and that same week i accidently nailed it in the bottom with a MAGLIGHT. I put a half-inch dent in it but it still plays fine. Other that that it is in perfect condition. It stays intune longer than any other guitar i own, and i have four others. It has the best action on an acoustic that i have ever felt. I only have to tune it once or twice a month. |

This guitar is by far one of the best acoustics i could have possibly hoped for. It is perfect for beginners, novices, and real guitarists. Please go to your nearest dealer and see if you can find one of these. You will only be able to understand what inullm saying if u try it for yourself. |
