Review Fender 20th Year 2000 Edition

Review by satan jr on Mar 26, 2004

i bought it about 3 weeks ago from a catologue because it was cheapish (£80) and i knew that fender are a superb guitar company

  Features

you dont have to tune it often but when you do and you havnt got an electric tuner you need to spare like 2 hours to do it by hand.
despite the price it's not the best guitar to learn from because the strings quite high up and you have to push down hard.

  Playability

you can reach desired results, it plays better than my old yamaha (see my yamaha review)

  Quality

because it's very unique (as it's fender) it has a some what unique sound.
this can be good or bad depending on your expectations. for me it is good because all i want is to chill out and play.

  Durability

like i said it is very reliable and dpesn't need frequant adjusting.
i havnt used it for any thing live yet because i've only had it for like 3 weeks and i want to get used to it.

  Overall

over all it's a good guitar. it lives up to my expectations and i reccommend it to any one who doesnt want to spend a million quid (or dollers!) on a guitar they just want to chill out and play after having a stessful day.
i'm not considering buying a new one. as it's a good quality it will last a long time.
