Bought from local Music shop in Stornoway for $50.00 and my old 12 stringer as P.EX. This was about 12-15 yrs. ago.I bought it cos it was small and cheap, and it has only 6 strings.

  Features

A basic guitar. I was surprised, happily, with the tone.Itnulls got a nice lowish action, easy to play, stays in tune lent it to a mate 3-4 yrs ago. He used it with different tunings(open, DADGAD,Nashville)and the sound was quite pleasant for such a cheap guitar. Weak points,Hey! itnulls a plywood guitar, its lasted this long, cannullt be too bad.

  Playability

fine for all I need it .Performance is relative to price you get what you pay for ,but with the PR200 you get a little bit more.

  Quality

As I said previously. It does its job.

  Durability

I have had it refretted last month, truss rod adjusted, new nut fitted plays like a more expensive guitar but I just use it around the house for practise and parties.Only been used occasionaly on live gigs where it performed fine.

  Overall

This guitar has been very good value for the little money I paid for it all those years ago.I have other guitars that I use in my day job but I would have no hesitation in using the Epiphone if the need arose.

i bought a pr200 a few months ago second hand for 50 bucks. i bought it cuz it was dirt cheap.

  Features

the wood is surprisingly resonant and from the get go i was able to get a nice warm tone out of it

  Playability

after a quick setup on the action, it feels great. good neck shape, nice and fast

  Quality

i replaced the nut and bridge with bone and WOW does it sound good. i prefer it to my d28 for recording rhythm parts, because it frets with such clarity!

  Durability

its my shit guitar, i pretty much take it to the beach and camping, places i would never take my vintage martin, and it hasnt got a scratch on it.

  Overall

i originally bought it because i figured 50 bucks-- any piece of shite is worth 50 bucks.

i cant believe what a little set up work and upgrade to minor parts can do to a guitar that originally retails for about 200 bucks. the sound really punches and cuts through the crowd in a jam situation. i use it all the time now gigging with a psychedelic rock band. open tunings and drone away!

I paid a little over $200 for mine in 1995. It was my first guitar and my only acoustic for 10 years. I think itnulls safe to say that I got my moneys worth out of it. Itnulls a good beginner guitar but itnulls nothing to get too excited about. I used it a few times in small live shows and I use it today as a backup for live situations and for alternate tuning setups. If younullre a beginner, Inulld recommend it.

  Features

Doesnnullt really have any features worth mentioning. Itnulls pretty much your standard run of the mill acoustic guitar.

  Playability

Inullve definitely played guitars that are much easier to play around this price range. The action is a little high.

  Quality

Sound quality is adequate for this price range.

  Durability

I used it for 10 years and it was adequate for that time period. The frets wore down pretty good in that time. I had to get them ground down once.

  Overall

Itnulls an average guitar that would be good for anyone looking to start learning how to play.

  Durability

I bought it from my local music shop here in Orkney (an island in Northern Scotland) and I paid £120 for it ( it was in a sale!)

  Features

It is really just a basic accoustic guitar which can be plugged into an amp. the only thing it lacks is a volume control so if you are playing itthrough an amp and want to alter the volume, you have to do it on the actual amp and not on the guitar, which is kind of a pain.

  Playability

I would say that I have played on better guitars but then agin I have definately played on some REALLY bad ones! Mainly the ones that are in the music department of my school. However, although I want a better one, I wouldnt change it just right now. All it needs is a whole new set of strings... once I find a decent enough brand of string

  Quality

Sounds good when played normally but I donnullt really like the sound when I play through an amp. It might be the strings Inullm using but I think its something to do with the lack of sontrols on the guitar itself.

  Durability

It is totally reliable and doensnullt need adjusting, just fine tuning... literally! It has always proved itself when Inullve played at gigs.

  Overall

I really just bought this guitar because it was on sale and was quite cheap, but not too cheap! I also wanted an electro-acoustic and this was the best one in the shop (the shop is really quite a small one, so not a large choice!). It has lived up to my expectations but now that I am playing at more gigs I am considering buying a new one... once I have saved up enough money that is!!!

I got it off of musiciansfriend.com for $120, it was on sale though, normal price is $180(not list, but actual selling price, i checked guitartrader and music123) and its a great guitar, got it in black.

  Features

its spruce/cedar top, not the best in the world..but sounds great. not too lage, not too small. just right. only thing i dont like is it only has one strap button, i with there was one on the back bottom of the neck.

  Playability

only set back to playing is it isnt a cut away. its really good, has 20 frets, wish it had 21, but who really cares?

  Quality

sounds great, one of the best ive ever heard, and i know peolpe with good ones.

  Durability

Its a very sturdy guitar, i didnt get a gig bag, or case, and it hasnt got a chip in it yet, even though i hit in on everything, by accident

  Overall

i chose it becuase it was on sale, was better than what i was originally going to get, and it came in black (black or whie acoustics look the ebst to me, i HATE natural ones, too common) i know it says: "BE CRITICAL! - Nothing is perfect. Donnullt rate a 200$ guitar as "excellent" because it most likely isnnullt."
but IMO this is.
