I bought this pedal at dream music in australia about a year ago now.
I paid $450aus.
There are a couple of reasons why i bought this pedal, basically because it is a very versatile and interesting effect, and tom morello uses it.

  Features

This pedal has enough features to keep anyone happy.
It has a midi input so that you can control it with midi devices if you have a fairly advanced rig, it also has any harmony interval from a 2nd up to an octave, it also has pitch shifting capabilities on the original note with settings like 1 octave up, 2 octaves up, 1 octave down, 2 octaves down, dive bomb (basically 3 octaves down, this feature is new,) drop tune (down 2 semi-tones). Also it has two detune effects deep and shallow, which basically changes the pitch slightly creating a chorus-like effect.

  Playability

Some whammys may require some adjustment on the treadle so that it moves a little easier because they tend to be a little creaky and stiff straight outta the box, but any guitar store should be able to fix this, other than that it is fine, the rotary knob is a bit hard to knock outta place while playing, the pedal is optical, but the switch can be a little tricky at times as it is quite loose.

  Quality

When used clean most of the sounds will sound awfull, but when combined with distortion it is really cool. When going up and down between octaves you may notice that the high note is slightly out of tune with the original note and it also gets a screechy noise if you play while keeping the pedal in the up position, but none of this happens when you go octaves down, 1 octave down and the guitar will sound like a bass, but once you get any lower you start to lose volume, however these do sound cool if you keep on moving the pedal.
The harmonies are good, the octave and fith harmonies are usually the most usefull for a powerfull rythm sound, whereas 3rds and 4ths are great for solos.

  Durability

This pedal is made out of solid steal and it can withstand heavy use, it is optical aswell so there is no pot to die out on you, but the paint scratches really really easily.

  Overall

Great pedal once you get used to it but in some areas of operation it gets a little dodgy.
