Review Crafter Crafter

Review by a visitor on 18.12.2004

i was given it by a freind as a present about a month ago
it sounds great, and has a soft rock acoustic sound to it
looks great. but the colour is dissapointing

  Features

one of the strong points is the fretboard. the frets are not high and your fingers glide over it easier
which is great for sliding chord shapes up and down the neck.
its also lightwieght.
but unlike the other electro-acoustics i have played its distortion quality is poor.

  Playability

it is the best acoustic i have played on
it suits my style of composition, stance and overall prefrence of playing.

  Quality

sound quality is amazing
its soft sound is great
it performs better than many others

  Durability

it does not need to be tuned often.
and it is great in live gigs for an acoustic song.
it is also handy during a gig as it is light so it gives you the opertunity to stand when performing.

  Overall

i am not considering a better acoustic guitar
this is the best ive played on and inullve gone through alot
i am only considering purchase of an electric guitar

I bought this guitar from a catalogue after my birthday. It cost £230 with a little 10wot amp, guitar carrying case, plucks and new strings. It is a great idea to purchase this guitar IF you are learning to play guitar but if you are a expireinced guitarist then this guitar is a no go.

  Features

you can purchase this guitar in 4 diffrent colours such as stone grey, cheery red, deep purple or black. It has a long fret board. The dis advantage about this guitar is that you can omly purchase one diffrent coil pick up for it. That is why it is ideal for bigginers. It has 2 pick ups volume and tone. It feels very heavy compared to some guitars. It has a nice feel to the guitar maybe because of the shape of the guitar.

  Playability

i have played using a peavey guitar before and i can say this guitar performed alot better. the fret board is bigger making it easy to reach the right distination on the board.

  Quality

when it comes to quality of sound this guitar doesnt compare. The sound isnt all great compared to a gibson our fender. I feel that the guitar is to tingy with the sound. It generates sound alrite just not the right sound some times.

  Durability

The guitar was the first guitar i pervormed with and it held up ok but its not the best guitar to use live. the way the strings jion up it makes it hard to adjust the tunning after songs.

  Overall

In my overall opinion i would not suggest a advanced guitarist purchase these guitar. It is more for begginers as you would not get the great sound that you want. I would suggest to stick to big brand names for a good guitar like gibson, fender, yamaha and vintage.
