I previously managed a guitar center and i'm familiar with many guitars, in many price ranges. I was lucky to find this jem at a garage sale for $25! The guy didn't know what he had. He had taken the pickups out to install an EMG active system (poor choice). When I got it, the top had two holes drilled through it and the neck pickup missing (bummer). Otherwise, the guitar was in excellent condition. I installed a seymour duncan Phat Cat P90 in the neck, wired out of phase with the bridge. Gets a totally funky sound when running both pickups!! A humbuckered funk guitar?? Get out!

Dollar for dollar (street price, not what I paid), this guitar is hard to beat. Figured top, kick'n pickups, good attention to detail, and very nice inlays. The coil tap bridge pickup allows for nice tonal variety. I really can't find a thing wrong with this guitar. Hardware (tuners and tail) are "average"; nothing special. If I had one thing to complain about (and it's a stretch), I'm not a gold hardware fan. Plating comes off after hours of playing... |

Neck is very nice. A little thick for my liking (i'm a strat guy), but I can reach all the frets and the cutaways are deep enough. It's well balanced and I don't mind holding it for an extended period of time. Sustain is excellent! Nice big frets as well. |

Sound is great, very clean build, great looking. The inlays are super clean; something you wouldn't expect with a guitar at this price. Is it a PRS or Gibson, no; therefore, doesn't merrit an "excellent" on sound quality. To a critical ear, you can hear the difference. |

It's well built. Come on, its a set neck solid body; how much trouble can it be? |

Wow, you can't beat this guitar for the money. If you stumble across one don't let it pass!! You could taste test this against some big players (prs, gibson, etc.). Does it have super exotic mega woods like the brands listed? No. However, one would be hard pressed, and need a very seasoned ear to hear the differnce. |

Whenever anyone looks at it they automatically think it is a PRS, because of the way it is shaped. It has a transparent blue figured maple finish. The pickups are Mightymite Humbuckers. An interesting feature that is normally on guitars priced over $1000 is on this; and that feature is a coil tap. It splits the humbuckers into single coils to get that strat sound. It has a 22 fret fingerboard with beautiful mother of pearl and abalone inlays. |

overall, the playability is very good, and the upper fret access is reasonable, there is just a little tedious to get the 22nd fret. |
