I bougt it at my local Guitar Center for $30 (on sale) and it is great. I got it April 2007. I bougt it because it was cheap (for a cheap guy like me).

If there is something to compain about, it is the effect range. Itnulls either scream or "wailing killer" scream. It has only but 3 knobs (Level, Tone, & Drive), a problem to some, but wasy to use. |

VERY easy to use. Looks and sounds way better than any cheaper or slightly more expensive pedal. |

This pedal makes ANYTHING sound better. The SD-1 farts distortion but never generates any excess noise (except for a slight "wailing" sound on my $20 amp). Best Inullve used so far. |

THE MOST RELIABLE STOMPBOX AVAILABLE. It is made of steel, so itnulls indestructable. The 3 knobs will never move by themselves. Long lasting. Beyong gig worthy. |

I love my BOSS SD-1. It was cheap ($30 on sale), and itnulls everything I need. I am now considering another BOSS pedal (and AC adapter, buying 9volts all of the time is hell). |

I bought my BOSS SD-1 at my local Guitar Center store and it is great. It enhances the sound of my crap Strat greatly. I bought April 2007 wth birthday money I had received. It was about $30 (on sale)! I bought to enhance the sound of my guitar and to have a little scream to boot.

If their is sometthing to complain about this heavenly stompbox, it is that their is few choices on how strong the distortion is. Itnulls either scream or deffining scream. Not to mention it lets out this high-pitch wail on my (crap) amp. Few controls, a problem to some, but easy to use. |
