I purchased this 60 watt amp at Guitar Center for $159.99 about 7 months ago. It was the only 60 or more watt bass amp they had for under 200 bucks. Though I really want an ampeg, I make due with it.

This amp has Passive and Active Input Jacks, Volume and Bass Levels, 3 Band EQ (Low-mid, High-mid and High, a tape in jack, preamp out, power amp in, and headphone jack, as well as of course a Line Out. It contains "Dynamizer Circuitry" which supposedly keeps it from blowing out but I know a few people who have had their behringers blow out so donnullt let that fool you. It also has a unique feature that comes with behringer bass amps, called the Shape Filter. Basically what it does, is add more low end to your sound if your one of those bassists who likes to make your rumble felt. I donnullt use it or care for it personally, but Inullm sure some people would love it. I donnullt like the EQ because I like to modify it more advanced than just in 3 ways. |

I can get an agreeable sound with this amp, but compared to some of the Ampegs and GKnulls I have played through, this thing just dosnnullt cut it. Itnulls good for solo practice but is difficult to be heard over the drums and 2 guitars in my band. It could be alot better, but for 160 bucks, it could be way worse. |

The sound quality is relatively good which is a strong point to this amp. Another strong point is the amp is put together very nicely. But, it just dosnnullt compare to the quality of other amps out there. |

So far It has been decently durable, but from all the stories Inullve heard, Inullm waiting for it to blow out any day now. |

Overall this amp is good for the cheap 160 price tag, and if your not a person who is all about features and sound molding. But if your looking for something above-average or exceptional, donnullt buy it. I wish now I would of saved my money to buy something better, but what can you do? |
