Being designed by the Lowden Guitar Company it has a number of Lowden type features in appearance. Well, almost...this one is a gloss finish..unlike the Lowden and Avalon Legacy ranges. This guitar is one of their Silver Series and brings the quality of a high end guitar into a much more affordable package. The gloss finish is superb and the overall look of the guitar is wonderful. |

This is the part I like. The neck is fast and the set up makes it so so easy to play. I much prefer it to my Tacomine in fact the Avalon Silver blows it out of the water. It sounds great on stage and maybe I should mention that the Fishman Prefis pro comes as standard |

What can I say...It's a stunner for the price. It is voiced in a much different way than the stuff we've had available to us for years. |

This I will have to wait to see. So far so good as there has been no need for adjusting as yet. The guitar comes with an excellent set up. |

I chose this guitar because so many people I know are now playing Avalon. It's not just more of the same. It's different. When I get more money I'll perhaps upgrade to Avalon Gold series.... but then maybe not! I'm not sure Avalon can justify the price of their Gold series as their Silver series...which costs $1000 less sounds so close to it |
